  First time here. Traveling back to NM via US60. We spotted the huge sign for the Buckboard Cafe and decided to stop for breakfast. The place is a nice spot to get down and walk around too. They have a small area designated to show several old, antique items. We took time to walk around and explore.
  
  The cafe was decorated western theme and was clean and comfortable. The service was good. People were friendly. We overheard a server (possible owner) chatting with a patron about how the place was under new ownership and all the changes that were made.
  
  The menu was basic comfort foods. We had the full order of biscuits and gravy. It was a small portion and we felt the gravy lacked seasoning. But we do plan on making this a stop when we travel in the near future.

  Nice to support a family business. Food was as expected and service was on slow side but not in a hurry.
